Driving on the national road to Lamia we will make a stop at Thermopylae, where you can admire the monument of King Leonidas. Next stop… Meteora! A unique landscape with huge rock formations on which the second most important complex of Greek Orthodox monasteries climbs, Meteora is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List with criteria I, II, IV, V and VII. Today, only 7 of the 30 monasteries are inhabited. And our last stop… Kalambaka, the nearest town to Meteora, where you can enjoy your dinner in one of the traditional taverns.
